The Business Charity Awards, which recognise the outstanding work done by the people and teams behind corporate and charity partnerships, have opened to entries for 2027.
The awards, run by Third Sector, cover 21 categories including Challenge Event of the Year, which in 2026 was won by the retail bank Virgin Money after more than 200 employees took part in a 17-mile fundraising walk and raised £70,000 against a £15,000 target.
One category winner will be awarded the prestigious Business of the Year prize, which in 2026 was awarded to the hospitality group Mitchells & Butlers for its work with the Scottish social enterprise Social Bite.
Emily Burt, editor of Third Sector, said: “The extraordinary work being carried out by socially conscious businesses and the charities they partner with can very often pass us by. But we never know when we might ourselves be a grateful recipient of this work.
“As businesses and charities alike grapple with ongoing cost-of-living pressures and global instability, these partnerships are more important than ever.
“We look forward to celebrating the outstanding achievements of the UK’s leading socially responsible corporations and their charity partners at the Business Charity Awards next year.”
The first deadline for submissions is 29 October and the second deadline is 17 December.
The awards ceremony will take place on 6 May at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square.
