PlayStation Plus Subscribers Losing 12 Games In July 2026

In about a month, a dozen games will leave the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. The rotating selection of titles, which are downloadable as part of the Extra and Premium tiers, sees newcomers and departures every month, separate from the three or four monthly games that are also available to Essential subscribers. The June additions brought two massive, must-play RPGs, and while we don’t yet know what’s in store for July, we do know which games are leaving the service next month.

12 games will no longer be playable through the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog, per the PlayStation Store’s Last Chance to Play section, viewable on a console. For a comprehensive overview of the upcoming departures, take a look at this succinct table from Reddit user PSPlusUpdates. It’s especially helpful for Platinum Trophy hunters, indicating an estimated time it takes to earn every trophy, and has other insightful data, like each game’s aggregate review score on Metacritic.

The full list of games leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on July 21 is:

  • Bomber Crew
  • Clash: Artifacts of Chaos
  • Cursed to Golf
  • Get Even
  • Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator
  • Infinite Minigolf
  • Onee Chanbara Origin
  • Risk of Rain 2
  • Röki
  • Source of Madness
  • Space Crew: Legendary Edition
  • Tropico 6

There aren’t any huge blockbusters in there, but there are plenty worth checking out before they’re removed from the Game Catalog. Risk of Rain 2, for instance, is a popular recommendation. The roguelike third-person shooter has a ton of content, and is great if you’re looking for a new game to play with friends, since it supports four-player online co-op.

Another standout is Tropico 6, a city-building and management sim that puts you in control of a banana republic. The long-running series has a consistently engaging political simulation sandbox – with a heaping amount of satire – and trying Tropico 6 before it leaves PlayStation Plus in July may be the perfect opportunity to dip your toes in before Tropcio 7 comes out later this year.

Like any batch of PlayStation Plus games, though, there’s great variety here, and most of the dozen can be played thoroughly in a month’s time. If you’re a golf video game fan, there are, curiously, two separate ones leaving PS Plus in July – Cursed to Golf and Infinite Minigolf. The former is a side-scrolling golf adventure game, while the latter takes putt-putt to a sandbox extreme with community-made courses.

It won’t be long now before the July PlayStation Plus additions are announced, first the monthly Essential games, then those that are coming to the Extra and Premium Game Catalog. For now, there’s about a month to go before the 12 games above leave PlayStation Plus – now is your last opportunity to try them as part of your subscription.
