The nominations for the 2024 Golden Globe Awards are in. Bruce Springsteen is up against a Barbie triple-threat in Best Song for a Motion Picture: His song “Addicted to Romance,” from She Came to Me, will face off against Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?,” Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night,” and Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken,” as well as songs from The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Rustin.

In Best Score for a Motion Picture, Mica Levi’s The Zone of Interest score goes up against nominees including Ludwig Göransson’s Oppenheimer, the late Robbie Robertson’s Killers of the Flower Moon, Studio Ghibli composer Joe Hisaishi’s The Boy and the Heron, and the Black Midi and Black Country, New Road associate Jerskin Fendrix’s Poor Things. Elsewhere, Taylor Swift got a nomination for the Eras Tour movie in a category titled Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

Bradley Cooper’s Leonard Bernstein biopic, Maestro, picked up multiple nominations, including Best Motion Picture (Drama)—where The Zone of Interest is also nominated—and Best Director and Best Actor for Bradley Cooper. Carey Mulligan also received a nod in Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama).

On the TV side, Daisy Jones & the Six picked up a nomination in Best TV Series (Limited, Anthology, or TV Movie), with Riley Keough and Sam Claflin earning nominations for their performances. In the Best Musical/Comedy categories, Fantasia Barrino was recognized for her part in The Color Purple, and, in TV, Selena Gomez got a nod for the heavily nominated Only Murders in the Building.

The Golden Globe Awards air January 7 on CBS, the show’s first time on the network since 1982 after a long period on NBC. In 2022—the year Billie Eilish and Finneas won Best Original Song—the show was not televised or livestreamed. It followed an outcry over an exposé about the dearth of Black members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The HFPA tried to address those concerns by adding Black members, a chief diversity officer, and a partnership with the NAACP.
