Every Marvel Hero Who Joined Thanos In Thor’s Vision

Warning! Spoilers for Thor #6 below!

In a completely shocking moment from the latest issue of Thorthe God of Thunder was given a vision of his death by the Black Winter. What Thor saw was extremely gruesome, as Thanos stood above him with an Infinity Stone-embedded Mjolnir as a (seemingly) undead army of Marvel Heroes stood behind him.

In the current Thor arc, Thor was chosen as the new Herald of Galactus in an effort to save the universe from a new threat, the Black Winter. Thor agreed to leave his post as the new King of Asgard and fought the Black Winter as it made its way into his reality. However, in Thor #6, the God of Thunder takes down Galactus and uses the power he’s been acquiring to set him off like a bomb – destroying the Black Winter. Before the Black Winter disappears, a small part of him allows Thor to see the moment he dies. That’s when Thor is given the horrible vision involving Thanos.

When Thor is given a glimpse into how he will die, he sees Thanos standing with Mjolnir (with Infinity Stones lodge into it) as well as a black arm. However, Thanos isn’t the only thing Thor needs to worry about as a group of undead Marvel Heroes are behind him and the names are notable. From right to left, undead versions of Spider-Man, Medusa, Hulk, Venom, Wolverine, Cable, Ghost-Rider, Black Widow, Hulk, Juggernaut, She-Hulk, Black Bolt, Magik and Captain America can be seen. To make matters worse, Sentry can be seen flying towards the top, while X-23’s claws are shown in the background.

Thanos Thor Black Winter Vision

Given the vision is one of the final scenes from the most recent comics, there’s little context to go by outside of the picture. It appears Thanos somehow merged Mjolnir and the Infinity Stones and either created his own undead Marvel heroes or turned Earth’s Mightest Heroes into his own zombie army. If Thanos wasn’t powerful enough, he’s got an entire team of the strongest heroes in the universe by his side. So, it makes perfect sense Thor would meet his end in this particular fight.

Thor’s dark vision is a worst-case scenario for not only him, but for every Marvel hero. Taking on Thanos is one thing. Taking on an even more superpowered Thanos than usual plus an army of Marvel heroes has got to be a near-impossible fight for Thor to win. This version of Thanos makes the Black Winter look like small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. How do you win against Thanos and the heroes that are supposed to fight alongside you? It seems we’ll find out in future issues of Thor.
