Following Katie Zacharia’s spectacular crash and burn, Donald Trump is once again in need of a new White House press secretary. On Sunday, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung floated an unexpected candidate: rapper-turned-MAGA sycophant Nicki Minaj.
Cheung shared a video of himself chatting with Minaj aboard Air Force One, during which the rapper heaped the kind of effusive praise on Trump that one might expect from a member of his staff. “Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!” Cheung wrote in the accompanying caption.
Minaj also accompanied Trump to a campaign rally in Michigan on Sunday afternoon, where the president acknowledged her presence by marveling at her “beautiful” backside. “That’s hard to miss!” he exclaimed, encouraging Minaj to stand up and show it off to the crowd.
