Craig Titley-Rawson will step down as chief executive of South Hill Park at the end of October, the charity has announced.
Titley-Rawson, who joined the Bracknell-based arts and culture charity in 2017, said he had decided to “look towards new challenges”.
He said his first project after leading the charity would be to assist a Surrey-based arts business in submitting a tender to take over a closed venue in Guildford.
“After almost 10 incredibly rewarding years at South Hill Park, I have decided that it is time for me to step aside as chief executive and look towards new challenges and adventures,” Titley-Rawson said.
“I am enormously proud of what we have achieved together and incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey.
“South Hill Park is a very special place, made so by its people, audiences, artists, supporters, volunteers and communities.
“It has been an extraordinary privilege to lead the trust, and I will always be immensely proud to have been its chief executive.”
The SHP board said it would consider the long-term leadership arrangements of the charity “in due course”.
Mark Hooper, director of learning, participation and community at South Hill Park, will lead the charity on an interim basis.
He will work with the board and senior team to support continuity and the ongoing operation and development of the charity’s arts centre, SHP said.
Michelle James, chair of South Hill Park, said: “Craig has made a valued contribution to South Hill Park and carried out the responsibilities of chief executive with commitment, passion and professionalism.
“We thank Craig for his service and wish him every success for the future.”
