Royal Report Card: See How Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry Performed in School

Pop Culture

Back-to-school is nearly upon us, and as Prince George prepares to enroll at Eton College, (the alma mater of both his father, Prince William, and his uncle, Prince Harry), take a look back at the test results for the British royal family. (Although, of course, there are no grade requirements to be royal). So, how did they perform when it came to their schooling? From Princess Anne to Princess Beatrice, here are the highs and lows of the royal report card…

Editor’s note: The UK’s grading system works a bit differently than the SAT or letter-grading systems in the US. For A-levels, a passing grade ranges from an A (Outstanding) to an E (minimum), and a U is a failing grade. The GCSE, another UK grading system, rates performance from a 9 (best) to a 1 (failing), with a 4 being the minimum grade needed in order to pass.
