Genshin Impact 7.0 Leak Reveals Upsetting Stellar Limitation

A new Genshin Impact 7.0 leak has emerged, revealing what could be seen as an upsetting limitation to Stellar variant reactions in Snezhnaya. As HoYoverse’s action RPG moves closer to Version 6.7, the final patch before Version 7.0 and the introduction of the Nation of Cryo, more information about the upcoming year of content is also being shared. We know that a new reaction variant, Stellar-Conduct, is getting introduced in the next update with the new character in Genshin Impact 6.7, Sandrone.

Stellar-Conduct is a variation of Superconduct, triggered by Cryo and Electro with specific characters. In a sense, it is similar to the Lunar variant reactions that populated the 6.X patches. There have been leaks about more Stellar reaction variants arriving with Snezhnaya. However, a new leak by DK2, shared by user Ryuusei_Dragon on Reddit, shows that there will only be a few Stellar reactions, and many anticipated variants will not exist for now.

According to the leak, Stellar reaction variants will be limited to Stellar-Conduct, being introduced in Version 6.7, and Stellar-Swirl, expected to arrive in future patches. As such, the game will not feature reaction variants like Stellar-Freeze, Stellar-Melt, or Stellar-Crystallize. Comparatively, Stellar variants will be more limited than Lunar variants, which include Lunar-Bloom, Lunar-Charged, and Lunar-Crystallize in Genshin Impact. Nevertheless, this does not necessarily mean the leak is true or, even if it is, that more variants won’t be introduced in the future.

Lunar-Crystallize was only introduced in Version 6.3 with Columbina and Zibai – before that, Lunar reactions were limited to Lunar-Bloom and Lunar-Charged. I wouldn’t recommend keeping hope for more Stellar reaction variants, but it is worth noting that the leak right now doesn’t necessarily reflect the future of the game across all 7.X patches. The rumored release of Tsaritsa in Genshin Impact 7.3 could potentially bring new Stellar variants or perhaps a tweak to other reactions that haven’t been contemplated by Stellar reactions.

For now, we know that Stellar-Conduct will see a Cryo and Electro field deployed. Enemies inside it will have their Physical RES reduced, while the party will see its Stellar-Conduct Cryo and Electro DMG buffed while inside the area. Of course, this is what has been presented as part of the kit for Sandrone, the Seventh of the Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact, and Stellar-Conduct may operate differently with other future characters.

More information about Stellar-Swirl should be revealed via leaks pretty soon, but overall, we’re not too far away from the arrival in Snezhnaya. As was mentioned, Version 6.7, which will be released on July 1, is expected to be the final update before Version 7.0. If Genshin Impact sticks to its regular schedule, Version 7.0 will arrive on August 12, and two weeks prior, HoYoverse will likely detail its content in the livestream.
