The deadline to enter the Purpose Awards EMEA has been extended to 14 March.

The Purpose Awards EMEA, which is run by Third Sector, PRWeek and Campaign, recognise campaigns that use creative ideas successfully to further positive causes and acknowledge the organisations behind them. The awards are open to agencies, brands, public sector bodies, charities and NGOs throughout EMEA.

Sarah-Jane Rumford, managing partner and PR director at the communications agency 89up (pictured, below), will chair the jury for this year’s Purpose Awards.

Rumford said: “I’m delighted to be chair of judges for the Purpose Awards 2024. Having been on a judging panel in 2023, I was impressed by the ambition, creativity and dedication coming out of the sector, and I’m excited to see the 2024 entries.

“I’ll be looking for killer audience insights, leading to smart creative that delivers stand-out results and drives real-world impact. And I’ll be cheerleading for all who enter and get to celebrate their passion and commitment. As previous winners at these awards, my team at 89up and I know how good recognition feels when you work tirelessly to achieve positive change.”

With the rise of cause marketing and social purpose showing no signs of slowing, winning a Purpose Award is a perfect way to demonstrate your organisation’s ability to excel in this crucial area.

The shortlist will be announced in April and the awards lunch will take place on 7 June at The Londoner Hotel.
