Purpose Awards 2023: winners revealed

Charity

The mental health charity Calm and the blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan were the big voluntary sector winners at this year’s Purpose Awards.

Calm won the Best Advocacy Campaign, Best Health Cause Campaign and the Best Public Awareness Cause Campaign for its work with the agency Hope&Glory on their campaign called ‘The Last Photo’, which featured the stories of people who died by suicide.

Anthony Nolan pocketed the Best Use of Celebrity and/or Influencers, Best Use of Creativity and Best Use of Digital/Social Media for its work with W Communications on their ‘Opportunities to Save’ campaign.

The Purpose Awards 2023, from PRWeek, Campaign and Third Sector, recognise campaigns that use creative ideas successfully to further positive causes and also acknowledge the organisations behind them.

The winners were announced at a ceremony in London today.

The event celebrated the best campaigns, agencies, brands, public sector bodies, charities and NGOs throughout EMEA over the past 12 months.

Thanks to the esteemed panel of industry professionals who judged the awards and, of course, all the entrants.
