Last chance to take part in Third Sector’s anonymous survey exploring sexual harassment in fundraising

Third Sector readers have just one more day to take part in an anonymous online survey asking people working in the voluntary and not-for-profit sector to share their views on and experiences of sexual harassment in fundraising.

As the sector returns to in-person events and meetings after the restrictions and remote work of the Covid-19 pandemic, we want to understand the scale of the problem and whether anything has changed.

The survey, which will be closed at 5pm tomorrow (2 September), will form the basis of an in-depth feature written by former Third Sector features and analysis writer Rebecca Cooney, which will be published in the final print edition of the magazine next month.

It seeks to understand the experiences of fundraisers who have dealt with sexual harassment at work, whether they feel leaders are responding to instances of sexual harassment appropriately, and what changes need to be made.

The anonymity of respondents will be protected throughout the process, and for legal reasons any individuals identified as perpetrators will not be named.
