St Anton am Arlberg is an attractive town, bursting with stylish hotels and chalets, including lots of family-friendly accommodation and some budget options too. St Anton has a strong luxury offering with increasing numbers of hotels with impressive spa facilities. Hotel accommodation is mainly found in the centre of the village, within easy walking distance of the main access lifts. Chalets tend to be spread a little further out, especially in Nasserein where there are some with a ski-in/ski-out location.

Mooser Hotel

Next to the noisy Mooserwirt bar, the Mooser Hotel is testament to the wonders of modern sound-proofing and multimillion-euro Austrian construction. Amazingly, there is no noise from the partying in the adjoining bar when ensconced in the comfort of the hotel. As well as having St Anton’s best après bar on its (back) doorstep, this 17-room, ski-in/ski-out hotel is chic and welcoming, with a superb spa and restaurant. Unsurprisingly, it books up extremely quickly, so reserve early.

Raffl’s St Antonerhof

The family-owned five-star Raffl’s St Antonerhof offers friendly, professional service and successfully flirts with combining Tirolean tradition and contemporary design. Intricately carved wooden beds are set off by exotic cacti and modern wall fires, and raised Philippe Starck bathrooms can be closed off from suites with sliding glass doors imprinted with vintage ski photographs. The duplex family suites attract a loyal following, as does the restaurant and bar, and there’s an excellent pool, sauna and steam room.
