Tim Presley, the singer-songwriter behind White Fence and Cate Le Bon’s DRINKS collaborator, has announced a new book collecting his drawings and poetry. It’s called Under the Banner of Concern and it’s out August 25 via Anthology Editions (an imprint of Mexican Summer). Preview the book in the video below.
The book features art from Presley’s 2019 exhibition at Chicago’s Soccer Club Club and Los Angeles’ The Pit. It also features previously unreleased art, new works of poetry, and an introduction by author and artist Trinie Dalton.
Tim Presley’s White Fence released the album I Have to Feed Larry’s Hawk in 2019. The year before, he released two collaborative albums: the DRINKS album Hippo Lite and the Ty Segall and White Fence record Joy.
