Sue Wong Academy Gala 2020

Charity, Luxury, Style

Like something out of Cinderella‘s ball the Sue Wong Academy Gala shined above and beyond in Hollywood on Oscar night. Dazzling with celebrities, philanthropists, and nobleman, the evening was inundated with art, talent, honors, and the human spirit.

Host International famous fashion designer Sue Wong presented an array of salacious apparel including bridal fashions worthy of an angel. Known for her classic Hollywood designs with a twist of modernism Miss Wong has dressed celebrities including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway, Kelly Osbourne, Tyra banks, among a few. Her fashions were huge among the millennials. Ms. Wong worked her way from a poverty infested China as a young girl to a self-made woman and a massive inspiration to those around her.

The Ref Carpet brimmed with celebrities including: actors Chris Browning, Sadie Katz, Mike Ferguson, Ron moss, director Thomas Churchill, super model Sherry Nelson, singers SohoJohnny, Wicked Witch and more.

VIP guests were many, Chris Salem, Laura Janay, Dawn Steele, and Alejandro Solis, Mark DeAlwis, Ron Russell, Jimmy Star, and many others.

The extravaganza lent itself to East meets West in fashion and flavor and included 12 Monks performing with 12 women drummers, singer Kaliope, Ron Moss from the popular soap opera The Bold and Beautiful, and internationals as well as locals all networking together. The vibe was sophisticated yet warm and friendly and without a doubt the only place to be on Oscar night.

The evening included a sparkling red carpet, a gourmet dinner, entertainment, awards, viewing of the Oscars, open bar, and much more. Also included was an after party with members of Pink Floyd, Jane’s Addiction, The Firm, and Twisted Brown Trucker. It was a world win event and definitely a night to remember. My only critique was that I didn’t have a glass slipper to lose for prince charming to find.
