The annual Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is back for its 2023 iteration this year, running between 27 and 30 September at the iconic Port Hercule of Monaco. Where yacht aficionados and industry movers have been rubbing shoulders since 1991, the MYS is considered the pinnacle of the yachting world — an international exhibition bringing together the most jaw-dropping superyachts and megayachts from around the globe, celebrating the adventurous lifestyle and spirit of innovation which comes with yacht ownership. This year’s MYS also features a special Sustainability Hub promoting the importance of eco-responsible practices in yachting. The show is organised under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness, Prince Albert II of Monaco.

A Gathering of The Best

The show is divided into two main exhibition areas: afloat and on the quayside. Afloat, 120 yachts and around fifty luxury tenders will be on display. For enthusiasts who are in the market for a new yacht, the MYS offers an unparalleled opportunity to see the latest designs and technologies in yachting — from sleek and modern superyachts to classic and timeless megayachts. Visitors will have the opportunity to consult with leading yacht brokers, builders, naval architects and designers who can provide expert advice and guidance on the purchasing process.

The first day of the show is invitation only, with access to the Dockside Area reserved for superyacht owners and enquiring yachtsmen. This will be a great chance to get onboard and see up close the craftsmanship that goes into building these magnificent vessels.

Apart from the yachts, the MYS has also hand-picked 560 companies representing excellence and innovation in the yachting industry to showcase their latest creations. Whether it’s a luxury charter company offering exotic destinations, a chef or mixologist to create bespoke menus or a water sports equipment provider to offer unique experiences, the MYS is the perfect place to discover these services to add to your own yachting adventure. In recent years, the MYS has expanded its exhibition offer to include other luxury markets intrinsically linked to the art of superyachting, such as tech-led yachting solutions companies, luxury car and motorcycle manufacturers alongside helicopters and private jet builders.

Innovating Sustainability

The MYS is also committed to exhibiting and promoting innovative and sustainable solutions for yachting. This commitment makes the MYS a major catalyst in promoting a sustainable yachting industry. At the show’s Sustainability Hub, visitors will have the opportunity to discover how the most cutting-edge green tech today is helping to minimise the carbon footprint of yachts and see how they can be incorporated into their own yachts. For those who are looking to build their own superyacht, expert consultations will also be available down at the Design & Innovation Hub.

With exclusive conferences, workshops, cocktail parties and events hosted by yacht brands and luxury companies, the show features a range of activities and events for visitors to mix and mingle with other superyacht owners, enthusiasts and industry experts to share stories and learn about the future trends of yachting. Whether you’re a seasoned superyacht owner or a sea lover new to the game, the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show is the ultimate destination to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of yachting.
