Third Sector Awards 2023 open for entry

Entries for the Third Sector Awards, which celebrate the work of charities and the difference they make to society, have opened for 2023.

There are 32 categories this year, covering sector excellence, partnerships and talent, including an award for Best Service Delivery Innovation that will recognise outstanding work to help people facing the cost-of-living crisis.

The awards continue to include a scheme to spotlight the successes of small, micro, local and ethnic-minority-led charities by offering a batch of free-entry places to charities with an annual income of less than £100,000.

Successful small and micro charity entrants will be invited to attend a free-entry workshop hosted by Third Sector, which will include practical advice and guidance on submitting a winning entry.

“The past couple of years have shown just how dedicated UK voluntary sector organisations are to tackling the problems facing society today, ” said Andy Ricketts, acting editor of Third Sector.

“They have continued to innovate and deliver vital services despite huge challenges. I look forward to celebrating the best of this work at the awards in September.”

The 2023 Third Sector Awards are sponsored by the insurance company Ansvar.

The early bird deadline for entering the awards is 3 May and the standard deadline is 24 May.

The awards ceremony will take place at lunchtime on 22 September in central London.
