On Sunday, November 20, Angelina Jolie was seen leaving popular vegan restaurant Crossroads in Los Angeles wearing a chic gray beige coat by Italian designer Max Mara. The outerwear was a cozy cashmere wrap-style with a long elegant cut that was cinched at the actress’s waist with a tie-belt.

She wore the coat with wide-legged dark, gray slacks and a pair of rosy nude heels. Jolie’s long dark hair was left down over her shoulders with a side part, and she was wearing natural makeup with bronzed cheeks and a light pink lip, showing off her flawless complexion.

It was recently announced that the 47-year-old actress will be returning to the silver screen in a new film. Variety reports that she signed on to work with director Pablo Larraín, known for his work on the critically acclaimed Princess Diana biopic Spencer, starring Kristen Stewart. This biopic will focus on opera singer Maria Callas, and is simply titled Maria. The story will cover the timeline of her life through to her death in 1977. Screenwriter Steven Knight is handling the story, and Juan de Dios Larraín has signed on to act as producer.

“I take very seriously the responsibility to Maria’s life and legacy. I will give all I can to meet the challenge,” Jolie said in a statement. “Pablo Larraín is a director I have long admired. To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream.”

Larraín added, “Having the chance to combine my two most deep and personal passions, cinema and opera, has been a long-awaited dream. To do this with Angelina, a supremely brave and curious artist, is a fascinating opportunity. A true gift.”
