Toast to a Great Success: REVVV, All About Art’s First Art Social Event

Luxury

Held during the buzzing F1 weekend of 1 October 2022, REVVV art social event took place at ArtSpace@Helutrans, a dedicated space for collectors to showcase their art collections and other artistic endeavours. Organised by All About Art, the event was a get-together of artistic partners, collectors and friends of the gallery. At the exhibition, there was a mixture of artworks from artists like Eric Minter, Rafael Sliks and Yomar Augusto. And staying on theme of the Singapore Grand Prix race, an exclusive series of 17 works also made its debut that evening.

Opening the event, was an address by Olivier Burlot, CEO of Heart Media Group and a speech by Jonathan Toh, founder of All About Art. Following true to Jonathan’s vision of making art more approachable, the art space was decorated to look like a living room. Averting the typical white-wall gallery, the exhibition was modelled to create a more lived-in environment and breaks convention in terms of art appreciation that many are accustomed to.

This is the first large-scale event that LUXUO has been part of since the pandemic began and it is great to see familiar faces again. The art space also serves as an opportunity for new relationships to be forged over a selection of cocktails made with Roku Gin. Other fringe activities include a personalised scent-making session hosted by Maison 21G. Guests were invited to do a short online quiz where they will be recommended a custom scent profile that they can obtain immediately at the scent bar. Also present at the REVVV event were prized timepieces from independent brand L’epee and guests got to learn more about the craftsmanship involved.
