Target’s Fall 2021 Designer Collaboration Features Your Favorite New York City Labels

Style

Just in time for fall, and New York Fashion Week, Target has revealed the lineup for its next designer collaboration. Instead of one chic remix of a designer’s greatest hits, we’re getting four.

New York City designers Victor Glemaud, Nili Lotan, Sandy Liang, and Rachel Comey are bringing accessible versions of their best styles to Target in September. (The drop’s exact date hasn’t been shared.) True to Target’s past expansive collabs, the upcoming collection will include 180 pieces across apparel and accessories. Size-inclusivity and budget-friendliness boxes are also checked: Clothing will be available in sizes XXS to 4X, and prices will range from $15 to $80.

“For the past 20 years, our guests have continued to express excitement when we introduce them to new and emerging designers from across the globe, all at an incredible value,” Jill Sando, EVP and chief merchandising officer at Target, said about the upcoming designer slate. “This fall, we’re building upon that legacy and bringing together four dynamic and highly regarded designers to introduce a collection of inclusive, on-trend and timeless fashion staples to re-energize guests’ wardrobes for the season.”

Preview images from the collection suggest we’ll get the best of each designer’s repertoire in the collection: One shot features Victor Glemaud’s bold stripes in a fall sweater, while another includes a printed puffer jacket and tulle dress true to Sandy Liang’s signatures. Other details hint that brand staples like leather blouses (Nili Lotan), sweater pants (Rachel Comey), and patchwork fleece (Sandy Liang) will be included.

Target’s collaborations are as well known for the designers they attract as the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it speed each collection sells out. (See: Last spring’s buzzy partnerships with Christopher John Rogers, RIXO, and Alexis.) With four huge names fronting the next collection, there’s not doubt the trend will continue. We’ll update our post as soon as the fall designer collaboration drops in September. Until then, add this page to your shopping bookmarks.
