Ariana Grande popped back on Instagram this afternoon to share a little update on where in the world she and her new husband Dalton Gomez have been honeymooning, along with some intimate, artsy photos from the vacation.
Grande and Gomez chose Amsterdam as their destination. Grande included several nature shots and a couple photos with Gomez clearly in the frame. In one shot, the newlyweds posed together in giant wooden shoes; it was the clearest photo featuring the two in the same frame. Grande has kept most of her and Gomez’s year and a half long romance off her social media. But after the two had their private wedding on May 15, Grande has become more comfortable sharing their relationship publicly.
A source told Entertainment Tonight in mid-June that “Ariana and Dalton felt like before they were married they couldn’t be as open about their relationship without it being scrutinized in the media and now they feel way more at ease. They have plans to travel more together and feel closer than ever.” Amsterdam is just the first of the trips Grande is sharing, it seems.
A month into their marriage, Grande and Gomez were doing great, Entertainment Tonight was told. “Ariana is happy and feels very relaxed,” the source said. “She feels like she is entering a new chapter of life and is excited to see where it goes.”
The source added that Grande particularly like “making unified decisions” with her husband. “Ariana is Dalton’s first priority in everything that they do and he really values her and shows it. Ariana loves that Dalton is super chill and how understanding he is of her.”
