Kantor Drops Electrifying Single, “Floppy Disk”

Music

Kantor is a phenomenal force to be reckoned with a huge magnetic pull toward him all stemming from his fierce original sounds. Boasting a wide range of electronic atmospheres and tempos that commonly include mid-tempo to house structures, Kantor doesn’t take any genre one off the table.

His latest single “Floppy Disk” is no exception to the greatness we’ve come to expect from this exceptionally talented artist. He melds bass and tech house together wonderfully, featuring with a wobbly bass line and thumping drums to make this feel like something that would go off all the way from London’s underground club circuit to main stage at EDC. The vocal sampling is flawless and adds the perfect touch on top of the instrumentation, solidifying this single as a sure success.

Here’s what Kantor had to say about it:

“‘Floppy Disk’ is the next step forward in regards to the sound design I’ve dreamt of for many years. There was a desire to continue to meld the elements of Techno and Bass Music, and with ‘Floppy Disk’, the result was really fun. The lyrics are my take on someone who doesn’t understand old computers and is just confused, while using the play on words of “insert that hard copy” in both a literal and metaphorical way. The result turned out exactly how I wanted, and is sure to be an experience when listening in a car or with a sub!”
