Who Are the Snow Owls on The Masked Singer?

Style

Tonight, we will see Group A perform for the third time on The Masked Singer, which means we will watch performances from the Sun, Popcorn, and… the Snow Owls. Yes, it is snow owls, plural, which means we not only have to guess one but two singers under this costume.

So far, Robin Thicke guessed married country duo Amy Grant and Vince Gill. Jenny McCarthy guessed brother-sister pair Donny and Marie Osmond. Joel McHale thinks they’re Garth Books and Tricia Yearwood, while McCarthy added Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman to the mix.

No matter what, it seems these two little songbirds are country singers. There’s a certain identifiable twang in both songs they’ve performed, “Say Something” by A Great Big World and “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” by Meghan Trainor.

Ken Jeong, whose job is to come up with wacky guesses out of left field, thought the Snow Owls might be father-daughter pair Rob Schneider and Elle King. Honestly, though, those two have sung together in the past, so maybe that wasn’t such a bad theory. Seriously, Rob Schneider is either not a bad singer, or I’ve had too much post-election wine.

Jeong also guessed Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams, because of the movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. That seems very wrong, but sure.

The Snow Owls have mentioned that fans “haven’t seen [them] together in a while,” which definitely points to a country pair who hasn’t been topping the charts (at least as a pair) lately.

Read on for more fan guesses below.

Overwhelmingly, these two are the top guess for Snow Owls. Their names are all over the comments on YouTube, and there are several good reasons why. First of all, they sound exactly like the country couple, who’ve been married since 1991. The clues reference a pearl, and their 19-year-old daughter’s name is Lily Pearl Black. There’s also a Christmas clue, and Clint has a 2018 Christmas album.

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman

One person in the YouTube comments said they thought the woman sounded like Mullally, which means the other owl would have to be Offerman, her husband. These two are not singers. However, they like to do puzzles together and then pose in photos that mimic the puzzles. This would be very fun if true.

The Olsen Twins

People seem to think that this is a sibling duo. These owls are definitely not the Olsen twins, but hey, if I have to pick a sibling duo, this is going to be it.
