This Friday (October 23), a number of artists will perform during a five-hour livestream in tribute to the late Tom Petty. The Tom Petty Birthday Bash will include performances by Foo Fighters, Beck, Jackson Browne, Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Norah Jones, and more. The virtual event will also feature special guests Stevie Nicks, Eddie Vedder, Post Malone, Lenny Kravitz, the Killers, the Raconteurs, Jason Isbell, and others. The celebration will take place three days after what would have been Petty’s 70th birthday (today, October 20).
The first annual Tom Petty Birthday Bash took place in 2017 in Petty’s hometown of Gainesville, Florida. The livestream will begin at 7 p.m. Eastern on TomPetty.com and Amazon Music’s Twitch Channel. Find a poster for the event below.
