All five seasons of X-Men: The Animated Series are currently available to stream on Disney+ for only $6.99 per month, or $69.99 per year. That won’t please anyone who’s not interested in subscribing to Disney+, but in the modern streaming landscape, every company is creating their own service, and locking down their own exclusive original and library content.
Why is X-Men: The Animated Series on Disney+, when the show never had any association with Disney? That’s due to the 2019 Disney/Fox deal, which saw Disney purchase Fox’s movie and TV assets for billions of dollars. U.S. subscribers thirsty for more X-Men content on Disney+ will be pleased to know that X-Men (2000), X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, and The Wolverine are all coming between July and September. One assumes after existing deals run out, the entire library of past X-Men movies and shows will make their way to Disney+, standing alongside Marvel Cinematic Universe offerings.
