Jim Olson’s Tranquil Meadow House along Woodside, California

Luxury

In a single continuous, flowing expression, of architecture, interior design, art, and landscape, the Meadow House is stocked with custom furnishing, unique light design, contemporary art collections curated by the architect, and several high-performance energy-effective systems.

As serene as its name suggests, the Meadow House along Woodside, California was conceptualized by Jim Olson, to be a single continuous, flowing expression, of architecture, interior design, art, and landscape.

With unmistakably picturesque views of the neighboring Santa Cruz Mountains, which radiate from every direction across the residence’s reflecting pools, vistas, and rustic gardens. Unified by a central living area, the Meadow House features three auxiliary buildings, seamlessly connected by its subdued quality of design, and extensive outdoor amenities.

Spanning across 3.5 acres of land, the Meadow House is organized into two interconnected elements, depicting a contrasting attitude towards the landscape, through a series of cultivated vineyard, and old-growth olive tree areas, alongside entertainment facilities, an infinity pool, gentle slopes, bedrooms, and an office.

With an earthy backdrop, the house is stocked with custom furnishing, unique light design, contemporary art collections curated by the architect, and several high-performance energy-effective systems.
