Specializing in high-quality outdoor furnishing and décor, Italian company, Ethimo combines the Mediterranean’s warm and inviting aesthetic with contemporary design to offer comfort, sophistication, practicality and visual enhancement to any outdoor area. Working closely with one of the nation’s most celebrated designers, Ethimo in collaboration with Paola Navone proudly present the Rafael outdoor furniture collection.
Drawing inspiration from the world’s most exotic natural destinations, the collection comprises of a variety of irregularly shaped lounge chairs, daybeds, sun loungers, and coffee tables, which Paola Navone deems ‘almost tribal’.
Measuring over two meters long, the daybed features a rectangular sunbed with a slatted base, whilst the lounge armchair incorporates a pentagonal seat and partially-wrapped backrest.
Utilizing a prominent and aquatic color palette, distressed teak, marble, metal staples and lava stone tabletops, each piece was designed to emanate a reliable, comfortable and ‘friendly’ aura – with alternative wooden frames available in ‘brushed teak’ or ashy ‘pickled teak’, and textured textiles ranging from hues of chartreuse and seafoam to grey and white.
