Maybe it’s low-key Kardashian drama, maybe it’s just a cleaning of the feed: Sofia Richie quietly unfollowed her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian on Instagram, just months after she made headlines for following Kardashian in September. Kardashian never followed Richie back, so there was no mutual unfollowing to be had.
Richie still follows Disick though. Kardashian follows neither on her own account. Disick has never followed Richie or Kardashian.
The unfollowing comes shortly after Richie explained to Entertainment Tonight why she’ll no longer be appearing on the Kardashians’ reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. A lot of her show storylines had to do with her and Disick’s relationship with Kardashian.
“Well, because I want to get into acting!” the 21-year-old model said. “I feel like, for a while, I kind of held back on things because I was afraid of failure, but 2020 is [the year of] no fear! I’m gonna be doing acting stuff really soon. Great things are happening and I’m really excited about it.”
Back in May 2019, a source gave People a pretty chill update about Kardashian and Richie’s relationship. “As much as people would love there to be, there isn’t any drama between Scott, Sofia and Kourtney,” the source said then. “They spend a ton of time together, and Kourtney is comfortable with Sofia around the kids.”
“Scott and Kourtney have gotten along really well for a long time,” the source continued. (Kardashian shares three children with Disick.) “It’s not only the family trips, but dinners, celebrations, etc. They spend time together with Sofia, and it isn’t weird.”
