The Sunseeker fleet across Asia expanded late last year, headed by the first 95 Yacht into Singapore. Cloudia is the largest build by the British brand to be permanently berthed in the city-state and continued a strong string of sales by Sunseeker Singapore over the past two years.
The 95 Yacht was sold and built following a number of meetings between the clients’ representatives, Sunseeker Singapore and Sunseeker International, and has been managed by the local dealership since her arrival.
“The client is delighted with their boat and it’s being used on a regular basis,” said Jessy Ong, Sunseeker Singapore’s Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager. “Our company fully manages all the Sunseekers we’ve sold into Singapore on behalf of the owners, providing them with a total-care concierge service.”
The 95 Yacht and other Sunseekers in Singapore were then joined in December by two units of the Manhattan 52 – the first to arrive in Southeast Asia – and a 76 Yacht, among three in the region.
The first 76 Yacht into Phuket arrived in December, sold and now managed by the brand’s Thailand dealer. Customised for a new Sunseeker client, the hull features a galley-down arrangement to provide a huge entertaining area on the main deck, which includes a large circular dining table.
Douglas Culverwell, Sunseeker International’s Regional Business Manager for Asia, said: “The 76 Yacht is a terrific boat for the region. At the shipyard, we are able to customise the layout and offer the clients exactly what they need. It’s the entry point into the Yacht range and then the Super Yacht range, where we now build up to 161ft.”
Meanwhile, a second Predator 74 arrived in Hong Kong. The 74 is the largest model in the Predator range and a sister ship of the 74 Sport Yacht, a model delivered to Thailand earlier in 2019.
“We are very excited about the Predator range, having launched the new Predator 60 Evo at the Southampton show in September,” Culverwell said. “This is the start of the expansion of our portfolio from 11 to 22 models over three years. These are very exciting times for Sunseeker.”
