Jamie xx has released a new remix of Robyn’s comeback single “Dopamine,” via Young. The producer’s first remix in three years follows the pair’s collaboration on the In Waves song “Life.” Check it out below.
Jamie xx said in a press release, “I had a blast making this remix; the original song is so great it was mega fun to get to play around with it. Thanks, Robyn! Looking forward to playing it on some dance floors v soon.”
“Dopamine (Jamie xx Remix)” follows the producer’s 2022 remix of his xx bandmate Oliver Sim’s “GMT.” Before that was Jamie xx’s reworking, in 2017, of the xx’s “On Hold.”
“Dopamine” marked Robyn’s return seven years after Honey, her beloved 2018 studio album.
