With Amazon’s inaugural Big Spring Sale officially here for the next several days, we’re seeing special markdowns on Apple tech comparable to that of Prime Day and Black Friday.
Tested by tech experts at the Good Housekeeping Institute, the second-generation Pros were found to be the best Apple AirPods. Editors love their noise-canceling capabilities and excellent sound quality, letting you listen to your favorite music, podcasts, movies and more without interruption.
They come with four different pairs of silicone tips so you can customize the fit to be most comfortable in your ears (a feature that sets them apart from standard AirPods). With a battery life of up to 6 hours, or 30 hours with the charging case, the AirPods Pro offers plenty of listening time to get through workouts, phone calls, long travel days and more. Per the brand, they’re also dust-, water- and sweat-resistant for better durability.
According to Apple, this pair offers even better noise cancellation than the first iteration of the AirPods Pro, and GHI’s experts were impressed with how well these earbuds blocked out busy New York City noise. Should you want to hear your surroundings, simply turn off noise cancellation with a single tap along the earbud’s stem. Apple also added a feature called “conversation awareness,” which reduces your audio volume and background noise automatically when you start speaking.
While normally these high-tech earbuds ring up to $249, you can shop them for $189 before Amazon’s Big Spring Sale. This is the same price they were during Black Friday 2023, so we’re hopeful to see the price drop even further next week—we’ll be keeping this post updated.
