The confectioner Tony’s Chocolonely, Amazon UK and the Yorkshire Building Society are among the companies shortlisted for the 2024 Business Charity Awards.
The awards, run by Third Sector, recognise the outstanding support given by businesses to UK charities and voluntary organisations.
The shortlist features 27 categories covering innovation, charity partnerships and talent.
Partnerships shortlisted for the Business Charity Awards’ Best Response to the Cost-of-Living Crisis include Barclays bank, which partnered with the food bank network the Trussell Trust to launch a financial wellbeing initiative.
The international law firm Hogan Lovells LLP, which partnered with the Westway Trust to set up a cost-of-living clinic to support those in crisis, is also in the running.
Long-term partnerships shortlisted for the awards include the hospitality chain Greene King’s partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, and the partnership between the retailer Hobbycraft and the hospice charity Together for Short Lives.
And contenders for CSR team of the year include the accounting firm KPMG and Nationwide Building Society.

The winners of the Business Charity Awards 2024 will be announced on Thursday 16 May at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square, in a ceremony sponsored by Ansvar Insurance.
