Alexis Marrero’s soon to be released new single “Floating Away”, her follow-up to her astounding single “Wake Me Up” is once again a haunting vision of greatness. Her story-telling gift is like a mosaic, pieces of light, love, history and stars glued together with magic music and words. “Floating Away” is like a dream and Alexis is often recognized for dreaming up something wild.
Hailing from Cleveland, Alexis has acquired a loyal fan base as well as coming from a close-knit family. She began posting covers on Instagram and joined a competition called “The Voice Kik.” She was discovered by a producer and the rest is becoming history. She has also incorporated philanthropy into her repertoire with her “Saving Our Holidays Extravaganza” in which influencers, singers and dancers, performed to raise money for the Salvation Army‘s Rescuing Christmas.
Alexis’ songs are filled with emotion and passion.
