Review: THE AMERICAN RELICS “My Impala”

The nostalgic and genre bending band THE AMERICAN RELICS have just released their new hit single “My Impala” via Tribeca Records (a SohoJohnny Enterprise). ”My Impala” is a riveting example of a true pop culture explosion relevant to the 1960’s when the youth of Great Britain transformed the planet into the King of Cool. The pop culture revolution encompassed music from The Beatles to The Sex Pistols and include fashion, art, Theatre, literature, film, but especially rock n roll.

However “My Impala” although it echoes the sentiments of the past, is also commercially fun in today’s music market. The track is filled with color, texture and heart. Its message is simply about having fun, something we could always all use. It’s an easy track to dance to and an easy song to smile about.

Frontman John Gitano does an excellent job on both guitar and vocals in sharing the Impala sentiment. Other members of the band include Adrienne Dugger world-renowned opera singer, who is harmonies, adds depth to every song they do, Nelson Montana on bass, Ian Zane on guitar, Josh Salant on drums and sometimes Joni Ernst on keys. In addition to the musical band of superstars the band welcomes guitarist Neal Lazar.

Hats off to Tribeca Records for having the insight to release this record on their label, and much success to THE AMERICAN RELICS and John Gitano and their official label launch…..
