Justin LaBoy, a close pal of Kanye, hosted the party, which featured some of his famous friends like 2 Chainz, DaBaby, Fabolous, and Pusha T. Compton rapper, The Game, was also present at the afterparty and rapped from the DJ booth. However, Kanye was not present, with a source telling Page Six that the Flashing Lights rapper’s “team spent money on the party” before adding that he was supposed to be there.
A Page Six source revealed that people at the club kept anticipating Kanye’s presence, and that “Every time a Sprinter [van] pulled up, people were like, ‘Is it him?” However, it was reported that people still had fun despite the man-of-the-hour’s absence. A partygoer revealed that it was a great event, and people gave up on Kanye showing up and had a good time without him. They added that the attendees saw the fun side of Kanye’s no-show, saying, “It was a running joke, ‘Is he here yet?”
