Tiffany & Co.’s newest advertisement that dropped during the 2021 Emmy Awards features not only stunning jewellery, but also a stunning home.
The ad was a tribute to the Audrey Hepburn classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Beyoncé performed an enchanting rendition of Moon River while wearing the iconic 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond. Adding to the opulence is the setting of the commercial, a Bel-Air hilltop contemporary, The Orum House, is on the market for US$42 million.
Designed by Zoltan Pali, who has also designed The Getty Villa and The Pantages Theatre. The Orum House is three-storey tall, with an American Influencer Award. The design of the house is made to make it feel like it is floating above the city. The glass-walled house sits atop a promontory in Santa Monica mountains, offering unobstructed views of the Los Angeles Basin from the Getty Centre to Downtown all the way to Long Beach. The glass also has four different opacities, making the house look like it’s shimmering in the sun.
The mansion offers 18,800 square feet of interior space, 6,000 square feet of deck, nine bedrooms, and 15 baths. The Orum also has parking for 30 cars, a 1,000-bottle wine room, a home theatre with Dolby Atmos sound, dual formal living rooms, a formal dining room, chef’s and butler’s, and an outdoor kitchen.
Its wrap-around deck features multiple fire-pit lounges, grass lawns, and an LED-lit, mirror-image pool and spa. The home has a wellness centre consisting of a fully equipped indoor/outdoor fitness centre, a cedar sauna, a steam room and dual massage rooms.
The home features a central steel-and-glass staircase, and at the top of the third floor, the home provides ample space and comfort, carefully separated from the entertainment areas on the lower floors. Featuring five bedroom suites, each with its own spa tub, there are dual master suites with their own terraces and 270-degree views.
There’s even a detached guest house called “The Cube” offering four additional bedrooms for guests and staff. The Orum House is offered to buyers fully furnished with interior design choices and curated artworks.
Beyoncé herself and her husband Jay-Z own a nearby US$90 million mega-mansion with their three kids.
Beyoncé is one of the most-awarded recording artists of all time, responsible for 28 Grammys, 29 MTV Video Music Awards, 31 BET Awards, and Billboard Hot 100’s Female Artist of the Decade in 2010. She is only the fourth woman, and the first Black woman, to wear the US$30 million Tiffany Diamond.
