Luis popped the big question in Greece following an elaborate fireworks show. Teresa was surprised, as she didn’t expect to get engaged during their vacation. As Teresa prepares to walk down the aisle for a second time, her younger brother is sending her love and support.
Overall, Teresa really wasn’t expecting a proposal when she and Luis jetted out to Greece with RHONJ alum Dina Cantin and her husband David Cantin. It was their first getaway since moving into their new mansion earlier this month. Teresa and Luis celebrated their one-year anniversary in July, and they’ve been inseparable since Teresa confirmed their relationship last November. This is Teresa’s first public romance since she divorced Joe Giudice. Alas, in recent times, she had teased her openness to remarry after falling for Luis.
Teresa’s brother, Joe, is now sharing his joy with the big news. “I’m so excited. I’m so happy for her,” Joe told Us Weekly. The real estate developer was so touched by the engagement, he shed tears of joy. “[Luis] came in like what she needed. She needed that Superman to come in and take her life and fix it, and that’s what he’s doing,” Joe said. “I always said she needed a beast of a man, and he is one of them.” Joe has always supported his sister despite his issues with her ex-husband Joe Giudice. In fact, the two Joes’ scarred brotherhood came to blows in the early seasons of RHONJ. In any case, Joe remained a shoulder to lean on for Teresa even when she wasn’t ready to leave Joe Giudice yet.
