When it comes to the 90 Day Fiancé universe, family feuds are a common occurrence. Ever since the show started, there have been several family fights on screen. Some families support each other in every circumstance. For example, Kalani Faagata’s parents support her relationship with Asuelu Pulla even though he isn’t the best husband to their daughter. Ariela Weinberg’s mother, Janice, became a popular name amongst the viewers for being a loving and supportive mother. However, some families can’t get along even for a minute. Perhaps that’s why the 90 Day Fiancé producers still force them to be together in front of the camera, which results in heated arguments and sometimes even physical fights.
One example is Angela Deem’s meltdown that happened in front of Michael Ilesanmi’s aunt, Lydia. During the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After Tell-All, the aunt told Angela to respect her husband, and Angela responded by flashing her breasts and saying “Suck on these brand new f***ing t*tties, b**ch. How do you like that s**t now?” Whether or not this went too far is up for the 90 Day Fiancé viewers to decide. However, that incident was yet another example of brewing family hate. 3. The Potthast family
Andrei Castravet and his wife Elizabeth have gone through a lot with the Potthast family, so they are probably one step ahead of the game when it comes to family feuds. Andrei and Elizabeth’s relationship has been through lots of objections. The two started featuring on 90 Day Fiancé season 5 and swiftly transitioned into Happily Ever After? Elizabeth’s family has been against their relationship from the start. Elizabeth met Andrei while on a trip, and they got married to each other in 2017. Alas, Elizabeth’s father Chuck Potthast, brother Charlie, and sisters Jenn and Becky were certainly not fully satisfied with Andrei’s accomplishments. The tension between the family rose when Elizabeth got pregnant, and Andrei was still jobless. In the latest season, Elizabeth’s husband is working alongside Elizabeth’s brother Charlie, who holds a disdain for Andrei. Their animosity resulted in a physical fight in front of everyone at several family reunions. Most recently, Andrei and Charlie got into a huge brawl when Chuck invited them to his house for a family cookout. Chuck cried after seeing his son and son-in-law fight. He said, “You want me to get a heart attack?“
2. Asuelu & His Samoan Family
The second worst family feud happened between Asuelu and his mother, Lesina Pulaa, and sister, Tammy Acosta. The problems between Asuelu’s family and his wife started in 2019. The 90 Day Fiancé couple Kalani and Asuelu went to visit the family without bearing monetary gifts, which caused much trouble as he went against Samoan tradition. Even after the couple decided to give $100 in cash, Lesina and Tammy were not satisfied. After this, the relationship between Asuela’s wife and his family was too broken up. Most recently, Asuelu kicked his own mother and sister out after they fought with his wife, who refused to have a third baby.
1. Pedro & The Chantel Family
Pedro Jimeno’s blowout fight with Chantel Everett’s family has to be the most dramatic family feud in the history of the 90 Day Fiancé. Chantel’s family has always accused Pedro of using her to harvest the American dollar. At the same time, Chantel had to deal with Pedro’s mother, Linda, and sister Nicole. The whole situation imploded at a family dinner during which Chantel’s brother, River, and Pedro had a crazy fight. It started when River stood up and slapped the hanging lights in Pedro’s face, kick-starting a chaotic battle. Pedro walked towards River to beat some sense into him. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers believe that this explosive fight was probably why this family got their own spin-off.
