The upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival is set to take place between September 7 to 12 and Ferretti Group is looking to stage four world premieres and a show debut of its Ferretti Yachts 1000.

The four world premieres from the Group on the Croisette in Cannes include: Riva 76’ Perseo Super, Riva 68’ Diable, Pershing 6X and Wally WHY200. Prior to the show, Ferretti Group will be organising the Ferretti Private Preview for its clients at the Monaco Yacht Club. The Group is using this opportunity to showcase its latest novelties.

Designed by Officina Italiana Design founder Mauro Micheli, the new 76ft Sportfly has an 18ft beam. The total glazed surface amounts to 40 square metres on the hull and superstructure. As per the tradition of all Riva models, the use of mahogany and polished stainless steel is seen throughout the 76’

Moving to the cockpit, its spacious dining area can accommodate eight pax when the table is lowered. Sofas flank both sides of the upper helm. Enjoying the sun is no doubt a highlight of any yachting experience and the 76’ has a sun deck of 4 square metres in area. At the lower deck, three en-suite guest cabins are available, with a fourth being optional and a small lounge and a galley.

The Riva 68’ Diable traces its inspiration to the former Diable but looking further back in history, it is actually based on the Riva Super America hull. The 68’ is part of the Group’s Open range and is also designed by Micheli. New to the 68’ is a hard top that provides shelter to the dining area and helm station.

For the Riva 68’, its cockpit holds two large sunpads — a chaise-lounge at the water’s edge and another along the dining area. The lower deck has a versatile social area featuring a galley and dinette along with three en-suite guest cabins.

Expecting to hit a cruising speed of 42 knots, the Pershing 6X is fitted with a pair of 1,550mhp MAN V12 engines that can allow it to achieve a top speed of 48 knots. The performance and aesthetics of the 6X are on par with the 5X, 7X, 8X and 9X. Furthermore, the 6X is the second-smallest model — it is 62ft in length and has a beam of 16ft.

New to this model is the big aft sunpad, carbon and teak table in the cockpit, the chaise longue with reclining backrest and rectangular portholes resembling windows. Along with these new elements, the 6X comes with two 19-inch monitors, carbon-fibre control panels and an electro-hydraulic steering system.

According to Ferretti Group, WHY200 is “up to 50 per cent more living space than traditional yachts of its length” and provides “the living space and lifestyle advantages of a 110ft superyacht.”

The overall length of WHY200 stands at 88ft 9in with a sub-24 meter load line length. Fold-out wings expand the beach club area giving access to the sea on three sides and two concealed garages stow numerous water toys and a big tender.
