Riva has launched the 56’ Rivale Hard Top, which falls under the Italian builder’s iconic Open range.

The first unit has already been shipped to America. The outstanding new feature on this new release is its black hard top with carbon-fibre detailing. It covers the yacht’s centre section and offers steel handrails on either side. The new hard top option arrives with built-in air-conditioning, however, awnings to cover the cockpit and forward lounge can be added.

The 56’ Rivale Hard Top features teak for the outdoor decking and polished mahogany for the interior in terms of timber. These are complemented by lacquered surfaces, mirror-finish stainless steel, and fine leather, to complete a luxurious build.

The 56′ Rivale Hard Top also has numerous design innovations. For example, it features a swim platform that submerges and carefully positioned steps that allow guests to enter the water and return aboard sans the need for a steel ladder. These steps are set on the port side and in the hull. The garage, which features a carbon-fibre hatch, also has space for a Williams TurboJet 325 tender.

The 56′ Rivale Hard Top also features a large sun pad aft that’s connected to forward-facing seating. The yacht has a side cabinet with a refrigerator, ice maker, grill, washbasin, and various bar equipment and accessories to starboard. To port, on the other hand, is an L-shaped sofa with a teak table.

The 56′ Rivale Hard Top’s foredeck comes with a sun pad with a reclining headrest, and the forward is an anti-slip glass panel that’s set in a stainless-steel frame. The sun pads, sofas, and external pilot chair are all upholstered in ochre and white Morbern leather from the Prodigy line.

The lower deck of the 56′ Rivale Hard Top has a lounge-dinette that features mirrored surfaces, polished mahogany, dark lacquer finishes, and dark-leather upholstery. The master cabin is midship and offers a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The VIP cabin, positioned in the bow, also has an en-suite cabin. To port, is a guest cabin that offers bunk beds and its own bathroom. Upon request, the third guest cabin can be converted into a crew cabin.

This new launch follows the Dolceriva Sports Hard Top, announced a few weeks ago. That 48ft yacht also belongs to Riva’s iconic Open range, which also includes the 27ft Iseo and the 88’ Florida.

In March, Riva also launched the second Riva 50 Metri. The shark-grey Fifty, follows in the footsteps of Race, the first unit of the brand’s 50m flagship. Race made its world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2019.
