Saint Laurent Rive Droite Capsule Collection Gears You up for “The Winter Games”

Luxury

Even though we are all cooped up at home, that doesn’t limit us from gearing up for the great outdoors. French luxury Maison, Saint Laurent, is preparing us for that moment where we can freely roam around again. For the latest Rive Droite capsule collection, “The Winter Game”, creative director Anthony Vaccarello has collaborated with various sports brands to curate an assemblage of swanky sporting goods.

For this collection, we have moved from the boudoir to the games room and now we have entered the ski-lounge. There is no doubt that Vaccarello is continuously expanding the “universe and the DNA of Saint Laurent” to a wider consumer base beyond just the world of fashion.

Among the new release, you’ll find an assortment of in-house made products all in the Maison’s signature black hue. Notable products here are the exclusive ski and snowboards made in collaboration with ZIA which will set you back about US$11,605 and US$9,500 respectively. Also part of the assemblage is a sledge created with Sirch and it will cost you US$4,500 to make your sleighing dream come true.

On the courtside, the Rive Droite collection has partnered with global sports brand, Spalding, which up until this year was the official basketball manufacturer for NBA. The culmination of this partnership is a reimagination of the traditional basketball in an exotic snake-skin effect. Unlike the winter equipment mentioned above, which costs in the thousands, the basketball is priced at around US$475 which is more affordable as well. Rounding off the capsule is the New Era 9FORTY cap that has been embroidered with the YSL logo, and it will be sold at US$250.

Aside from the abovementioned collectibles, the Saint Lauren Rive Droite capsule collection will feature classics like the SL24 mid-top sneaker, a striped “Baby Alone” top and others. All the new releases are available in the Paris and Los Angeles Rive Droite stores, alternatively, you can head over to the official Saint Laurent website here.
