Microclimate Invents ‘AIR’ : A Ski-Mask For Safer Daily Travel

Luxury

Developed with a singular focus, to create safer and more comfortable travel, AIR by Microclimate is the world’s first transparent ski mask, enabling unhindered visibility and full facial recognition. The product thus utilizes state of the art HEPA filters for both inlet-and-outlet air, a feature similar to those used on a commercial airplane. These filters riddle-out an estimated 99.97% of particles as small as .03 microns, and are easily replaceable.

Providing optimal protection, the AIR mask’s impermeable fabric wraps effortlessly around the neck, forcing all incoming and outgoing air through its patented filtration system. Available in two sizes, these head pads are equipped with clear acrylic visors, ensuring the seamless continuation of the most basic forms of human connection. The design also accommodates the use of facial accessories such as glasses.

Weighed at approximately 2lbs, the AIR mask comes complete with a microfiber cloth for cleaning, a carrying case, a USB-C cable for charging, and additional cushion liners, plus a removable and washable fabric. The mask, currently worth $199, is also equipped with a patent pending ventilation system, that will incorporate two high powered fans to facilitate ventilation.
