Winners of Purpose Awards EMEA 2020 revealed

Charity

An appeal for Médecins Sans Frontières UK has been named Best Fundraising Campaign at the Purpose Awards EMEA 2020, run by Third Sector with sister titles PRWeek and Campaign

The awards – previously called the Campaigns for Good Awards – are open to agencies, brands, public sector bodies, charities and NGOs throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and recognise the steps taken to use creative ideas to further positive causes.

The MSF UK campaign, called “Supporting the frontline of humanitarian care”, was produced by the agency Crafted and was the most complex digital appeal the charity has run.

The #PlasticPromise campaign by Pegasus for Girlguiding was named Best Environment Cause Campaign in the charity or NGO bracket, while the Best Equality and Inclusion Cause Campaign for a charity or NGO was “Embracing Complexity”, by JPA Health for the autism charity Autistica.

Other charity winners included “#PainNoFilter” by Headland Consultancy for Versus Arthritis in the Best Health Cause Campaign category, while “#TheREALCheekyNandos” by Alfred for World Animal Protection took home the Best Public Awareness Cause Campaign award.
