Pitchfork is pleased to announce that Nick Hakim will play a stay-at-home concert that will broadcast live on Instagram this Wednesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. Eastern. You can tune in at Pitchfork’s Instagram.
The performance will be part of a series of concert sessions that take place on our Instagram on Wednesdays and Fridays, and viewers will be able to donate to the charity of the artist’s choosing should they want to do so.
For this Wednesday’s livestream, Nick Hakim has chosen to spotlight the Bushwick Mutual Aid, a grassroots community group that supports people in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn affected by COVID-19, helping them get equipment, groceries, and other necessities.
Upcoming artists in the concert series include Princess Nokia, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, and Flying Lotus. Stay tuned to our IG and site where more details will be announced the day before each live stream.
