Numarine is offering an exclusive Hot Lab decoration package for its 32XP following a first-time collaboration with the Milan-based design studio. The Turkish shipyard launched its first 32XP in 2017 and staged the world premiere of the expedition-style superyacht at the following year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, alongside the 26XP.
Omer Malaz, Chairman of Numarine, said: “It’s a great pleasure for our shipyard to partner with such an amazing and innovative design team. Their work is so inspiring, elegant and timeless. We’re happy we can offer Hot Lab styling to our clients and we’re keen to develop our partnership going forward.”
Hot Lab has mostly used white and a bright palette for sample decoration, evident on renderings, and offers to meet clients to customise decor for the voluminous 32XP, which has 600sqm of living space and a 4,000nm range at eight knots.
Antonio Romano, co-founder and partner at Hot Lab, said he was ‘amazed’ by the Numarine facility after a visit last year and stated that owners can choose the studio’s decoration package up to three or four months before delivery.
“We do not touch the layout of the 32XP because it’s perfect,” Romano said. “It’s only about materials and finishes. Our new package offers nice touches for the decoration to add more freshness to this superyacht’s styling.”
Enrico Lumini, Chief Designer and partner at Hot Lab, added: “My favourite features of the package are the spaciousness of the master cabin and the homey effect of the saloon, with an intensive use of loose furniture. It really makes you feel like the only important thing is the box you are onboard and how it’s going to take you wherever you want.”
Numarine, whose dealers include Asiamarine, has delivered three units of the 32XP and will deliver a fourth this summer, having also sold 12 units of the 26XP. The yard plans to premiere its new 22XP at Cannes in 2021 and has also begun construction on a 37XP.
