Never one to just recreate the past, Emile Chouriet’s latest creation is made for those who appreciate classical watchmaking with a little something extra. The Heritier Weekly Date combines the timeless elegance of the Historique line with a balanced display of the day of the week and the date through windows.
True to the brand’s philosophy of reinterpreting Swiss watchmaking heritage in a contemporary context, the Heritier Weekly Date is at once classical and original. In addition to the central hours, minutes and seconds hands, the Heritier Weekly Date features two windows or guichets, which display the day of the week and the date.
The white dial is embellished with three diamond-set markers at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, while the other hour markers are polished flat batons. Circling above are two faceted, lance-shaped hands, finished in a striking blued hue recalling the traditional decoration of Swiss watches from past centuries.
Easy to read yet balanced with the rest of the dial, the day of the week is displayed in an arched opening at the top of the dial, while the date is positioned at 3 o’clock.
Housed within a 40mm stainless steel case featuring the Historique collection’s signature flared wing-shaped lugs, the Heritier Weekly Date is powered by the self-winding EC9325 calibre, based on the ETA 2834 and provides a run time of 38 hours.
The Heritier Weekly Date is fitted on a steel bracelet with two rows of polished and satin-brushed links that further accentuate the original flowing lines of the case and its wing-shaped lugs.
