Learning with Experts is launching both an online chocolate course with master chocolatier Paul A Young and an online bread making course with expert French baker Richard Bertinet.
The courses offer insight and tuition directly from experts, allowing consumers to master a new skill from the comfort of their homes.
Paul’s The Art of Chocolate Making course is available for pre-order and students can begin any time after 27th March, while Bertinet’s An Introduction to Bread Making is available for pre-purchase and will available to start as of 10th April.
Just in time for Easter, Paul’s chocolate course includes an introduction to chocolate, tempering and making truffles, ganaches, and moulded chocolates, while Richard’s bread making course teaches people how to understand and work a broad range of dough such as fougasse, olive bread and pizza dough.
Widely regarded as one of the world’s most exciting chocolatiers, Paul A Young is a ground-breaking and inspirational chocolatier who is at the forefront of the British chocolate scene. His passion for his craft and his cutting-edge creativity have won him numerous awards which is why Learning with Experts have selected him as the lead for their first chocolate course.
For soon-to-be bread makers, learning from Richard Bertinet’s wealth of expertise is the perfect opportunity to master bread making at home. Richard will teach students the foundation of a good loaf and help them master the techniques needed to make perfect bread every time.
The beauty of Learning with Experts is that students receive real-time feedback from the comfort of their own home, from the expert and also from their fellow students. Learners are placed in classes no larger than 20 and are encouraged to interact with other students, share photos, successes and failures, in a friendly forum that is designed to create a community which in turn encourages learning.
The course completion rate at Learning with Experts is over 80%, compared to an average completion rate of online courses of just 20%.
Other Food & Drink courses available on Learning with Experts include Wine Appreciation with Amelia Singer, Foraging with Miles Irving, Sourdough at Home with Barney Desmazery of BBC Good Food and An Introduction to Craft Beer with Matt Simpson.
