In light of the current situation facing the UK, the 70-acre woodland adventure park BeWILDerwood Cheshire has delayed opening until the summer holidays later in the year.

The COVID-19 outbreak is causing many businesses and attractions to re-assess their plans to ensure public safety. The latest putting the health of people first is BeWILDerwood Cheshire. The woodland adventure park has decided to delay its official opening until 18th July 2020.

Hannah Monteverde, ‘Top Banana’ (aka Park Manager) at BeWILDerwood Cheshire said of the situation “we are closely following the advice and guidance from the government and public health England with regards to COVID-19. Keeping our visitors and staff safe and healthy is always our priority, and as a result, we have made the decision to move the opening date”.

Hannah went on to add “for anyone who has already booked tickets, we will be in touch directly to rearrange their visit, and rest assured, our Boggle Builders are still beavering away in the woods to get BeWILDerwood ready for running WILD in July”.

The magical adventure park allows visitors to run WILD in a beautiful forest setting. The whole family can spend hours running and clambering on the sustainable wooden structures, from aerial ropewalks to climbing walls, balancing logs and muddled mazes.

The full-day attraction is home to over ten giant structures, including the magnificent Sky Maze, reaching 8 metres into the treetops. Based on the BeWILDerwood book series by Tom Blofeld, the first site was opened in Norfolk over 13 years ago.

BeWILDerwood Cheshire, fun for the whole family

BeWILDerwood Cheshire will continue to post updates on their website and social media as the situation unfolds.
