Tom Hanks has announced he and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus. Over the last several weeks, COVID-19 aka coronavirus has continued to spread around the world, infecting over one hundred thousand individuals and killing thousands. Although the changes made to businesses and entertainment pale in comparison to how the disease is affecting human lives, Hollywood has not been immune to changing its ways as a result of coronavirus spreading.

One of the first shoes to drop as Hollywood adjusts to the outbreak was MGM’s decision to delay No Time to Die‘s release. While most movies have so far stayed on target for their summer releases, the new James Bond film, as well as Peter Rabbit 2, pushed their release dates back to the fall. Meanwhile, there have been cancellations of movie festivals and cons around the globe, while thousands of international theaters have been shut down. It was also recently announced that production on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was altered due to coronavirus spreading overseas.
