Justin Bieber Celebrated His 26th Birthday With Cupcakes, Cake, and Hailey Bieber

Style

Today, Justin Bieber turns 26 years old. Yes, this is the same Canadian teen with floppy hair that we all met in 2009. That kid is now a full-grown, married man who is nearing 30 years old (in four years, but still!). To celebrate his big day this weekend, Bieber went to Los Angeles hotspot Delilah, per TMZ. The site also says that he and his wife, Hailey Bieber, went out to dinner before they got together with friends at Delilah.

There was reportedly a live band, passed drinks and sweets, and cupcakes and a cake with plenty of candles for the birthday boy. As friends sang “Happy Birthday” to the Changes, he grinned that embarrassed grin that only people receiving unexpected compliments and cake get on their faces.

Someone caught the Biebers cuddling up in an affectionate hug on the dance floor.

Bieber seemed to have a good time at his own bash, per this very enthusiastic moment:

Although it was his weekend, Bieber seemed pretty focused on one particular person: Hailey. “Your [sic] my birthday gift bubba,” he wrote as the caption of the photo of the two kissing.

Hailey also posted a birthday shout-out to her husband on her Instagram story.

At this point, fans of the Biebers probably feel as if they know a lot about their relationship. His album, Changes, features more than one song about his wife, to whom he’s been married since September 2018. “Come Around Me” is, apparently, about the two of them doing you know what.

In February, he revealed the intimate details of his life with Hailey to an entire concert crowd in London. He also revealed something less PG-13, the details of his proposal to Hailey, in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in January.

“I was extremely nervous [when I proposed to her],” he started. “I felt like in the past, we talked about you know, me asking the question, and I felt like she would say ‘yes,’ so I wasn’t really nervous about the saying yes, but I think I was more nervous about ‘am I gonna make this commitment? Am I able to make this commitment as a man and be able to honor, you know, what I say, you know because that’s a serious commitment, when you say you’re gonna love someone for better or for worse and like, be faithful.’ That’s huge. Am I able to do that?’ And so I think that was really what I was battling with. And I finally was like, ‘You know what? I’m gonna make the decision and follow through with it. Be a husband, and you know, this is what I’ve always wanted. I’m gonna just choose this woman and just do it.'”
