Azimut Yachts to Showcase a Whole Fleet at the Miami Yacht Show

Luxury

There will be Azimut Yachts as far as the eyes can see at the Miami Yacht Show as the Italian boatbuilder is bringing along a fleet of eighteen yachts and offering a world premiere along with three American Premieres.

Azimut Yachts has chosen the Miami Yacht Show, held from February 13 to 17, for the anxiously awaited international debut of Verve 47, an unusual open with the amazing power of four outboard engines, each delivering 450 hp, wedded to the brand’s signature style and taste. A boat with outstanding handling designed for an owner looking for an adrenaline-pumping seagoing experience.

Alongside the new Verve 47 designed by Francesco Struglia and Michael Peters, also on show for the very first time in the US will be Azimut S8, S6 Sportfly and the 78 Flybridge.

In addition to these new models, the shipyard has also decided to show 14 more top-sellers at the Miami Yacht Show, bringing the fleet to a total of 18 models.

The Miami Yacht Show is the ideal city for the world premiere of the new Verve 47, the ultimate boating machine. A pure open that introduces a new approach to cruising at remarkable speeds, accompanied by exceptional manoeuvrability and featuring the signature style and class of Azimut Yachts for maximum comfort.

Azimut Verve 47

14.50 meters long, Verve 47 is the result of a collaboration between Azimut Yachts, head designer Francesco Struglia and hull designer Michael Peters. The boat has a record-breaking propulsion system, with four outboard engines, each producing 450 hp for a top speed of 50 knots, controlled by the latest generation joystick and various technological solutions that round out this ambitious and original project.

Federico Ferrante, the president of Azimut|Benetti Americas, commented: “Azimut Yachts is one of the few global yachting brands with a strong presence in the USA. Bearing this in mind, we wanted to create a boat that has a special affinity with the US market (and why we decided to present the new model in Miami), but which also has Italian appeal.

The result is Verve 47, a yacht designed to appeal to owners who love speed, sportiness and excitement, but who also appreciate elegance and fine design. With Verve 47, you can go from Miami to the Bahamas for a lobster lunch and be back in Miami in time for the Opera, all on the same day!”.

The new Verve 47 will be joined by the other model in the same collection, the Verve 40, and two models in the Atlantis line, the 45 and the 51. The Flybridge Collection will be the best represented, with six models: 50, 55, 60, 66, 72 and, last but not least, the 78, which will be making its debut in the United States.

The S Collection, featuring high tech solutions, high-performance materials and big open spaces, will be represented at the show by S6, the model that captured everyone’s attention last spring when it was exhibited in Times Square. Both Coupe and Sportfly versions of the yacht will be on show, the latter making its US debut. Completing the range are the S7 and, most importantly, the S8, for which this is its first appearance in North America.

The Magellano Collection of long-distance cruising yachts featuring reduced consumption and extended range will be represented by Magellano 66.

Finally, Grande, Azimut Yachts’ flagship Collection, will be represented by three internationally famous models: the 25 METRI, the 27 METRI and the 32 METRI.

Azimut Yachts will be at the Miami Yacht Show (One Herald Plaza) from February 13 to 17, stand Slip A1. Verve 40 and Atlantis 45 and 51 will on display at the Miami Boat Show (Virginia Key), stand 641-643-645.
